Friday Night Group Hitting Lessons

Feb 26 and March 26: at the Hanger (6200 N 64th Street)

March 5 and March 12: at DSHA High School (4257 N 100th Street)

Indoor Practice Dates for February to May - Summer Practices June to July

February and March: all practices at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School, 4257 N100th Street.

U10 1:00-2:30.  February 28 - March 7, 14, 21, and 28 - April 11

U12: 2:00-4:00. February 28 - March 7, 14, 21, and 28 - April 11

April and May: all practices at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School, 4257 N100th Street.  If the weather is good we will go outside.

U10: 2:30-4:00.  April 25 - May 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 

U12: 2:00-4:00.  April 25 - May 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 

June and July: all practices at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School, 4257 N100th Street.  All practices outdoors (gym reserved on Sundays if we need it due to bad weather).

U10: Wednesday practices - exact time TBD

U12: Thursday practices - exact time TBD

Dash Softball Mission Statement

Dash Softball is a fast-pitch softball program established to help young women in the greater Milwaukee area master the fundamentals of the game is a supportive and caring environment that is focused on player growth and knowledgeable coaching.  Our main goal is to help our players develop a love for the game of softball while understanding the values of hard-work, teamwork, and self-improvement.  Our secondary goal is to help players be ready to compete at a high level when they reach high school and prepare them for what will be expected of them at the varsity level.  We have a special focus on students in parochial schools in the area and do not have a specific affiliation to any school or geographic area.

Year One Vision Statement - August 2020 to August 2021

Our vision for the first year of fielding competitive teams is to have one U10 and one U12 team.  However, we are open to having more than one team at any level, or adding more teams at other levels (U8, U14).

  • We will have our first tryouts in August of 2020.
  • We will have our first practices starting in September of 2020.
  • We will have our first league games and competitions in April or May of 2021.
  • We will play in our first tournaments in May or June of 2021.

If you are looking for individual instructions and lessons for your daughter email us at DashSportsSB@gmail.com and we can provide the names of hitting and pitching coaches.  There are also a number of programs in the area that offer group lessons for defensive skills as well.

Core Principles

Fundamentals: Dash Softball is dedicated to the principle of fundamental development.  We will instruct our athletes how to master and flawlessly execute the skills that are necessary to play the game of fast-pitch softball at the highest of levels.  These skills include throwing, catching, base-running, hitting, team offense, and team defense.

Growth: Dash Softball is dedicated to teaching its players a growth mindset so that each young woman in our program understands that they can improve any skills, in softball or life, with proper coaching and a determined work ethic. 

Support: Dash Softball is dedicated to creating a supportive learning environment that allows each player to learn the game of fast-pitch softball in a caring environment.  All our coaches will be taught the most up to date coaching methods for the skills and fundamentals of softball.  More importantly, our coaches will be taught how to be supportive to each of their players and how to help their players become more mental resilient while increasing their self-esteem.
